It is available in sizes ranging from 4.5 mm to 12.7 mm with customized range of Tg and tensile strength.
Carbon Composite Core for HTLS conductor
EnergyCore is an advanced composite carbon fiber core specifically designed for High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) conductor. It is manufactured by pultrusion process using special carbon fibers and proprietary high temperature resin system to ensure the highest performance and durability.
The core is covered with an electrically insulating glass fiber layer, which increases the core performance and flexibility, in addition to protecting the aluminum strands from galvanic corrosion. EnergyCore is qualified according to ASTM B987 from an internationally recognized lab.
